My Lancia Thema 16v turbo series 2 is smoking with a heavy blue smoke and the turbocharger is filled with oil. The turbocharger has been tested and it is allright and I have tried it on another car and there was no smoke. Does anyone know what could be the problem with my engine?
If the blue smoke is constant then it is valve seals and guides, if it is only after depressing the throttle then it is the rings
PCV valve, it could be blocked or in the case of my Thema, the hoses to it were kinked, I went from excessive blue smoke to no smoke at all overnight.
