When I start my Linhai 50 scooter it starts right away but it seems that after the electric choke starts to open as the engine is warming up it runs rough and will not accelerate much past idle. It sometimes backfires through the muffler. After a while, usually about 15 minutes running time it will settle down and run just fine; but not always. Sometimes I can get it to run correctly by shutting off the engine, waiting a few seconds and then starting it again. Once I get it running properly, its usually good for the day unless I leave it for more than 5 or 6 hours or so, then the problem comes back. Is this a fuel or an ignition problem? Thanks, John

Ok, carb is new, but did you inspected the fuel line.get the fuel pressure inspected.If its low then problem is poor fuel flow or blockage in fuel flow due to clogged fuel filter.-------
try running with starter fluid sprayed on carb and throttle body.--------- If it runs with starter fluid then problem is fuel flow.----------
