My belt came off at the motor...how does it go
The way the belt goes back on is, as the belt comes off the drum has to be doubled (pushed together to form a loop) and goes under the idler pulley then to the motor.
While you have the drum out, I would recommend that you lubricate the drum rollers at the shaft of the roller with a good grade of machine oil like 3 in One oil. This will save you a problem later with the rollers getting noisy, also check your drum rollers for flat spots, if they have flat spots on them this will cause a thumping type noise. You will need to replace the drum rollers if they have flat spots on them.

My one year old samsung dryer runs but does not
Hello- The usual cause is a bad thermal fuse or heating element. Unfortunately you will need to have a Tech out to look at it, these aren't that easy to take apart and check. Good luck, best regards.
My Samsung dryer has no heat to it
i just replaced my heater element today. piece of cake!
take the vent tube out the back, disconnect the two power wires to the element, remove the (one) screw on the front of it, (this would be the hardest part!) remove heater box out the vent vent tube hole in the back of the machine transfer wires to new unit and reverse the instructions. should take about 45 minuts and helps if you can get the dryer off the ground,(like up on a table to make it easier). PS: you dont have to take the front, top , bottom, sides or the drum off to do this!!!

Internal Thermal fuse which is mounted to the
exhaust duct inside the back cover panel. Please do accept the

1 year old dryer has
First you need to actually test for power, Breaker seems fine doesn't mean you are getting power to the recepticle.Please post back after testing for power.
We just purchased a new Samsung Dryer model
Could be a couple things causing this problem. If you can turn the durm by hand without much resistance then the belt may be too loose. This could be because the spring on the tension pully came off or the belt streached. The humming you hear is the motor spinning. If you cannot turn the drum by hand then something could be stuck between the drum and the frame of the dryer.
I would also check that the dryer is wired correctly, because low voltage could be causing the motor to hum but not turn.
Samsung dryer drum wont turn
most likely a broken belt. There is a micro switch on the tension pully that opens when the belt breaks preventing the motor from spinning when the belt breaks.
We have this samsung dryer and my towels smell
I have this problem with my Siemens machine, it is due to mainly running low temp washes and bateria building up in the hoses etc. (more prevalent if the machine is connected directly to the sink and not on a stand pipe). I run a 90 degree cycle every 4 weeks with the machine empty except for two capfuls of baby sterilisng fluid (approx half a mug) I buy stores own as it is cheaper than miltons. The first time I did mine I ran the cycle twice to be sure it was cleared out. My machine is six years old and the first smelly signs were when it was about a year old, I run the maintenance wash religiously ever 4 weeks and run a machine descaler such as oust thru every 4-6 months. Hope this helps. Roni. (ps don't be tempted to use bleach as it foams up and can cause more problems!!)

A moister sensor detects this and will keep the heat off until it is cleaned thoroughly
