Voice Command Problem

I have the LG VX 10000 (voyager) cell phone with the Kenwood DNX5120. Names have been recorded and I have updated the firmware to the 1.60 ver
but still the voice command button is not highlighted for use. What should I try next?

Try to turn OFF the Music Mode Only.
Turning on Music Only Mode will disable voice and data calls..

Hi sherri you are sure the connection the rear Audio/input is in the right location and the menu should have a selection under the menu/title that is a mute function
