Wish to remove stand from Panasonic TX-L32LMD70 so I can fix on wall bracket

  • ben4649 Sep 06, 2011

Hello. Re removing stand from Panasonic TX-L32LMD70. Thanks for comment but I think the stand on my tv must be different to the one you describe. The stand has a central bolt fixed to a metal bracket inside the tv. Have tried to unscrew bolt but find it very difficult to turn. Don't wan to apply too much pressure in case I am doing the wrong thing. The stand moves about 10/15 degrees

Hello there,
To remove the stand from a panasonic tx-l32lmd70 television, you will be needing a Towel and a Phillips screwdriver, then you Unplug the power cord from the electrical outlet and lay the television, screen down, on a towel. The towel helps prevent damage to the screen.
Remove the four retaining screws that secure the stand from the bottom of the television using the Phillips screwdriver.
Slide the stand out of the television. Place the stand and the screws in a safe place in the event you change your mind and decide to set up the television on the stand again. The television is now ready for hanging on a wall.
That is how to remove the stand/base from the panasonic tx-l32lmd70.
Would be glad to know if this information helped you. All the best ben4649, Elect_Comp

Oops! sorry about that mix up in model number ben4649 and sorry am just replying your comment. The bolt is always very secure because it is a machine that screwed it to the base of the television. You will need to apply more pressure in taking out the bolt. Once you take out the bolt. the stand will be easy to be slided out.

The internal part of the television is composed of panels, boards an the screen. It is quite obvious that the bolt cannot be holding any of this together inside the unit of the television. Once the bolt is able to move counter-clockwise a little. then it will be free all the way out.

    Hope this helps.
Best regards to you to Ben4649

So are the four screws inset at the bottom of rear of TV casing ? The centre bolt is secured from inside stand casing with locking screws so wont move?
