I have a Canon PowerShot A540 and have never had a problem downloading pictures. I recently bought a new computer desk so everything was unplugged and plugged back in. Since then I receive the message, Cannot detect camera. Check connection to camera, then retry.
I have plugged and unplugged the cord that connects the computer to the camera several times and I still receive this message.

I've had powershot A520 for 3 years and now the pc can't detect the camera. I've plugged and unpluged several times to no avail. I have webroot firewall installed. Does that matter?I've had powershot A520 for 3 years and now the pc can't detect the camera. I've plugged and unpluged several times to no avail. I have webroot firewall installed. Does that matter?
