How to fix error code E90 for Electrolux EW 2408 F

I found out the hard way that it's because the drain is blocked. Check the filter and even get a torch to look to make sure there is no coin or piece of wire jamming the pump.

check the drain filter is clear / pumping efficiency good. possible blockage in side chamber on righthand side. fan motor assy on top of chamber may be faulty. a condensing water valve could be faulty its the dual cold valve that the cold hose connects to without it you just get a steam and hot clothes.

I had a similar problem and the instructions were useless.

The only thing that the user can do is clear the pump. Open the small hatch at the bottom of the front and there should be a drain hose. Open this and catch the water that drains out in a shallow tray. When the water has stopped running open the large stopper and you should be able to see the pup impeller. Clear out any blockage and put everything back together.
