Installing in progress, cannot install anything while programs are being installed
I cannot install a different printer onto my computer (i have the cd), but everytime i put it in and it comes up to install with the wizard, it says cannot install, other installation in progress. I do not know where to go to find what's being installed and to stop it so i can install this printer. help me please. Not very computer literate, so make it simple and step-by-step please. brandy

Unplug printer from your pc then restart the pc. then connect the cable to pc then if your printer found u get new hardware found wizard then insert your cd into rom then clik on "yes this time only"in new hardware found wizard.then it automatic get driver from cd.also u can manually install driver with browse the folder.
