The printer is Lexmark x1270 is not function because the CD is the printer x1200
You will need to download the driver from Lexmark.com. Here is a link for you:

Once you arrive at this link, you will see an option to "search by model" Here you can type in x1270. This will take you to a screen that has a drop down box at the bottom for you to select your operating system. From there you will see a button that says "download now" click on that. Click on "save file" in the box that opens up. If given the option to run, click run. This should download and install the necessary drivers for your printer.

Select your operating system > click on "FILTER" > click on the driver under Recommended Downloads > download and execute the file.
