When i try to open C: or D: a window prompts on the screen asking through which program you want to open ! Also, when i tried to open Internet Explorer, an error prompts -" The procedure entry point InternetGetSecurityInfoBy URLW could not be located in the dynamic link library WININET.dll" What is the reason for this error and what is the solution?
It was functioning absolutely fine till yesterday but suddenly it started showing error. Please guide.
First use a friends computer download firefox. Firfox is a another/better broswer that internet explorer.

Second once firefox is installed download adaware found here --->
http://www.lavasoft.com/products/ad_aware_free.php (make sure you get the free version)
run it on a complete scan.
Next after that get malwarebytes ---->
http://www.malwarebytes.org/ (update it before using it)
I am on the track that you have either spyware or a virus but most likely spyware.
for Internet explorer try this only after the above do not fix the problem.
