Sharp A203 Problem

Hello, I'm at work right now and whenever I put in my total, hit 1 after on the next set of keys I get a beeping sound.
This also happens when I hit cash. How do I solve this????

Click the link above or copy and paste into your browser. When you see the Rapidshare page, click ‘free user’. If you see a timer, wait, then click ‘download’.


It sounds like you might be using a decimal point.

Turn the key to REG mode.
Type the price in dollars and cents with no decimal point e.g $5.50 = 550
Press a department (category button) to the right of the numeric pad.
Do the above until all items entered.
Press SUBTOTAL. This will show the sale price. Ask the customer for this amount.
If you want to calculate change, type the amount the customer hands to you now.
Press the payment method, cheque, credit, cash. Sometimes the CASH button is called TL

See if that sorts you out. Otherwise tell me exactly what buttons you are pushing, and any error numbers that show on the display. These are good machines. I really like them.
