Hi I bought a nintendo ds about april 2007. My ds was working perfectly fine except for a few minor problems every so often, until just a few weeks ago my ds was dropped on the linoleum floor of my school and the power light completely dislocated itself from the system. It still worked fine for about 4 or 5 more charges after, but one day i was playing it and it shut off completely. I tried rebooting the console, but got the same effect. I charged it all night but now all it does is the green light goes on, clicks, the bottom screen flashes, then it goes off. I have tried many solutions such as cleaning the battery, charging with a different charger and outlet, nothing seems to work. I hope you can help me because i can't afford a new ds.:((
You will need to replace the upper lcd screen, when the power light came off it caused the top and bottom shell to shift back and forth causing the lcd ribbon to become damaged, the flash you see is the power from the botton trying to make it's way to the top, send to ebay ed-kar-3 for $38.00 to fix
