This is a known problem - if you call coby customer service - they will tell you to try a dvd lens clens cleaner. this will not work - If you try to send the unit to the Coby they will charge you a $12 MONEY ORDER to send the unit in, on top of the shipping charges. the unit only cost $20 or under - Best advise - Throw it away. Dont waste your time tryin to call coby.

same problem keeps reading wrong disc
when I insert a disc instead of playing, it say wrong disc.
I have tried several disc and get the same message after the message "loading" appears on the screen for several minutes.
I have had the same problem with two DVD players both within the first month, I think they have a quality issue with their lenses.
insert dvd and then it reads wrong disc
