Hi there, I am not familiar with these types of devices. I am wondering if this product would be suitable to use for a board meeting with 7 members in attendance?. How close to the speaker does the device need to be?

Hey Donna,
The WS100 is great for this. Put it in the centre of the table and it will pick up everyone - assuming normal size of table for 7 people.
You can get an add on microphone but I have never needed it.
Newer models can hold more hours but I have not tried them.
