Same problem with the F50 code. Did all the research/diagnostics. After much debate on whether to replace the whole machine or try and fix it, we ordered the control board (part #W10189966) for $155. on-line, and it worked perfectly!!!! Don't waste your time on the RPS kit. And us old-timers installed the part ourselves within 20 minutes so no need for a repairman (3 screws and 1 bolt). Happy Days!

It has a faulty control board. sorry but this a bad part from the factory. There is class action lawsuit against whirlpool about it. Call and complain and then maybe they will pay to fix it.

There is also a wiring harnes issue with the cabrio. Its either the board or the wiring harness. It is the factories fault. There is a class action lawsuit against whirlpool for this problem, So try calling and complaining a lot!!! The problem is from them faulty parts.

I also have this cabrio washer. When I got the f50 code they had to replace the Central Control Unit (part #W10189966 $186) and the RPS Sensor Kit (Part #W10183157 $100). Not to mention the service call $59.75 and the labor $104.75. After complaining to Whirlpool they covered the parts.
