I have a Jensen JCD7000 car cd player. It repeats an error code of ER-04 everytime i try to play a CD. Radio works fine.
The CD has been working and just stopped recently after my car was serviced. The battery was probably disconnected causing the error.
Any hints on what the code means as I don't have a manual or find one through the net either

Ok guys thius it how it works.
Blaupunkt supply a repair kit for this unit, this basically is a fix. but only works for 8 out of 10units.
its a pain to fit too.
you have to replace the 3 spindle guides and arms. the part number is : 8619001490 there a reall complicated thing to fit.
i am looking to get a install guide sorted. and will soon be selling the kits on my website

I dont want to guess a solution for this however, ERR2 represents EJECT. The description of this error is "The Eject is not available". Possibilities are, jammed mechanism or sticky eject button.

look in boot left hand side and you will with any luck find the radio code stuck on a sticker
