Hello. i have a sharp carousel microwave i bought one year ago and now it is making a louder noise when it's cooking plus the outside of the microwave unit is getting very hot. what do you think is the problem and what to do about it? thanks, nina.

Thanks for this response. My unit is over 10 years old and this evening I got burned when I bumped my hand on the wall while trying to remove a larger bowl. It has never been hot like this before.
