LOTR Battle for Middle Earth 2. I am unable to play.

I am using Windows 7 OS. I have done all the necessary steps to play the game. such as options.ini, the patch, etc. yet I am not able to start the game. On starting it says error parsing field 'ShadowLOD' in file data\INI\GameLOD.ini. and then it exits the game. Please help.

Help in the link, but what you should have contacted the developer. If you didn't because it is a counterfeit copy, that is the reason it failed. Sometimes can can try reloading the software, and it that doesn't work, you reboot, remove the software, reboot and then reinstall the game.

REstart your computer and keep pressing F8 till you get the option to boot in safe mode. IF this works then it means a driver or some piece of hardware you added is conflicting. If it still wont boot i would think bad RAM.

SOURCE: incorrect path to INI file

install the game and when it gets to the install on C:\nancy drew click browse and choose program files then install there the game will then run but requires the cd to be in the drive
