Directly in the middle of the screen I have three small color dots, green, red and yellow. I've tried to adjust the convergence but it made no change. Can it be fixed?

this might sound odd but you might have a bug or something on your mirror or have you bumped the front screen? the freznel and lenticular screens could have seperated.

i would contact a local repair shop for an in home service call just to verify these 2 possible scenario's.
