Program Codes I am setting up a RCA Digital TV Converter Box DTA800 My television is an Emerson ColorTelevision Model ET - 14J2 The first question asked in the setup iof the converter box is "What is the Program Code for the television set ?" It says to look at the separate Program Code leaflet and look for the brand of your TV set and a 3-digit program code - but the leaflet was not included !!!! Any suggestions ?

I own a One-for-All universal remote, and my booklet says the setup code for an Emerson TV (without a built-in DVD or VCR) is one of the following numbers: 0154, 0171, 0178, 0180, 0236, 0451, 0463, 1944, 1963. I can not guarantee these numbers will work with your remote, but it is worth a try.
