Printer problem hi i recently got a new computer with windows xp instead of my previous windows millennium setup. i had a cannon i250 printer which worked on my old computer but wouldn't print out the correct colours on my new computer, eg anything green is coming out blue and the red is coming out a strange shade of pink. i thought it was the printer so i have now installed a new printer, a canon bjc 80. when i printed off a document the same thing is happening. the green is still coming out blue etc. is there anything i can change to rectify this problem cos i am sure it is not the printers fault it must be something else. any help would be most appreciated. ps i have not got the manufacturers original loading disc for the bjc 80 and the i250 printer is thrown away. thanks tim

Here is the link for the driver download for the i250 for xp (hope you didn't mean you threw the printer itself away) http://software.canon-europe.com/software/0023758.asp?model= Here is the link for the bjc 80 scanning driver for xp; http://software.canon-europe.com/software/0018984_0000424.asp?model= but unfortunately canon does not seem to have a driver for printing in xp for the bjc80, it doesn't seem to be compatible - contact canon and they might have plans to release an xp driver this link has dos drivers for the bcj80; http://alpha03u.c-wss.com/inc/ApplServlet?SV=WWUCA900 Hope this helps - other option would be to go back to windows me/2000 or get an xp capable printer - if you get a new one make sure it can deal with windows vista as well in case you upgrade in the future :)
