When i plug my remote control into my computer noting happens. what can i do?
Definitely try a new cable. It is a standard type of USB computer cable and widley available. It is a Type A Male to mini-USB cable. the software can be downloaded freely from logitech's website. If your computer still does not see the remote with the new cable attached, try moving to another USB port, and then next systematically. There have been cases when front-panel ports will fail, but rear case mounted ports will still work. Good luck.
Try it on a different usb port, or even a different computer. try a different cable, and if all fails, remove the batteries on the remote, put them back, and try this all again.

Nothing happens when I plug it in. I can't find the cd it came with.
Screen said only USB connected.
