System temperature too hot

Well my system temperature is reaching heats of 50oc under load and I believe it is making my computer freeze causing me to restart. I was wondering how exactly this temperature is measured and where about on my motherboard (ga-p35-dq6) the object is located so I can place a fan near it to lower it's temperature.

Its measured in Celsius. Meaning alot higher in Fahrenheit. That would be the Processor.

You are looking for something that will be Square or on a Card that is in the motherboard.
