Tenorshare Video Converter. it's a pretty good software, and ipersonally use it. i like it cos of its simple interface and uncomplicatedsettings (though availabe), easy to use for a beginner like me. i also like itbecause it has this bit rate calculator, where you just indicate how big thefile you want it to convert to, then it will do the compressing for you! plusit has a built-in player, since sometimes i view the video i edit (yes, tweakthe brightness and contrast and stuff) before conversion. pretty good stuff, iwould recommend it.

In Vista, open Computer; right click on "open"; open "Program Files"; look for the WinFF folder; open the folder & look for "uninstall". Click "unistall" and the will delete itself completely within 30 seconds.
