I cannot get it to scan to computer, it will print, copy, but not scan to computer.
Had exactly the same problem after I change my router address. Seems windows is not as clever as you'd think! Goto http://welcome.solutions.brother.com/BSC/public/us/us_ot/en/faq/faq/000000/000700/000024/faq000724_000.html?reg=us&c=us_ot&lang=en&prod=mfc420cn_us&Cat=14 which is the Brother USA site and they will step you through the fix. Basicaaly you have to go into control panel, select scanner properties and re-browse the scanner connection. Once it has found it again, you chould be back in business. Good luck Tony

how do i find out how to use my scanner. Do i need to connect it to my computer? It says, "check connection"
