Has the camera been dropped?
If so this may have distorted the rear cover, causing some of the mode functions to not work correctly like play back and delete features. if the mode functions all work ok and the camera can display a live image (as when you normally take a picture) it may be a card error and it may need replacing or formatting (formatting the card will erase all pictues so make sure you back up what you want to keep before you formating).

go to the kodak website & see if there's a newer version of the software and check if there's firmwire updates for your camera if this doesn't help close the kodak sofware & work with your photos in windows if things still go crazy there could be a camera fault, good luck
