Make sure you convert to mpeg4 with 220x176 and 30 fps. The conversion software that came with the unit won't allow you to do this. I solved the problem with AVS Video Converter 6. You can get it at www.avs4you.com. Chose "To MPEG" then select "edit" and enter 220 for width and 176 for height. Then enter 30 fps for "frame rate". This should do it. Good luck.
