Runtime Error I do no have the OS cd for my Windows XP Professional to solve my problem. Is there anything else I can do? This is my problem: i keep getting errror message: Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime  Library Runtime Error Prgrogram : C:\ProgramFiles\ InternetExplorer\iexplore.exe Then it says This application  has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.  Pleases contact the applicatioins support team for more  information. And computer is running very slow. I recieved  new restore cd and it is not recogizing. my comp is asking  for a floppy disk. it reads other cd's

Try booting the computer in Safemode ( Restart the computer and press F8 just before Windows start loading). Then go to Start>All Programs>Accessories>System Tools>System Restore. See if you can restore your system to a period when you did not have this problem. That is if you started having this problem very recently. Hope this helps.

what OS is ? Windows Vista ? Windows XP ?
anyway .. you should back-up all your documents, photos and files and reinstall the OS.
