    cant programe it a uniden 8 band bearcat

First turn it on, then press manual (might be labled man),the type in the channel you want to enter a frequency into and press manual again. next if there is a pgm or program button press it, if it has no program button just type in the frequency you wish to put into that channel. now press enter. repeat this process for each channel you wish to program.

You didn't mention what frequencies you're trying to program. BC148XLT coverage ends at 512 MHz, so you will get the error message if you try to program anything above that. Also, you must be sure to include the decimal point when programming a frequency into the scanner. I hope this helps.

I think you left some numbers out of your scanner's model number. Is it by any chance the BC60XLT-1? If so, you can download and print your manual by following the link below. If not, please let me know the model number and I will try to find a source for you./

I can't locate information specific to the 210XW, but hopefully this generic Bearcat programming info will help:

1. Press the MANUAL key to advance to the channel that you wish to reprogram.

2. Enter the new frequency, including decimal point.
