How do you check fuses

No power light, checked power cord and it is good. TV just was working last night and this morning no power. Is there fuses to check inside, if so how do you access them as I have removed all the screws and the unit would not come apart.

Getting the back off safely can be a real issue, most of the time the unit is laid face down with the entire frame around the screen supported BUT WITH NO WEIGHT ON THE ACTUAL SCREEN ITSELF.

One wrong move or downward pressure and the screen can be destroyed and the set with it.

Most sets in that position the base stand if it has one has to come off also or first.

Many sets in addition have plastic snaps inside the edge all the way around(screws it seems in some cases not bad enough)

I use a thin metal putty knife to snap them open.

If all this has scared you stop, have a shop or tech look at it.
