I took apart the back of the tv I do not see where there is a b+ connection. There are three groups of wires plugged into the board that contains the stk392-040 is one of those groups of wires the b+ connection?

About 18 months ago, my Sharp 55R-WP4H developed a blue shadow. After browsing this site, I figured out to change the two convergence ICs and everything worked.

About month ago, the set would not turn on anymore, and the timer light was blinking 3 times. I again changed the convergence ICs, and the TV came back on, but the picture was terrible, it looks like a 3D movie with out glasses, it has a small horizontal pin-cushion distortion and a strange blinking every 30 seconds. If I unplug the D1 and D0 connectors from the convergence board, the TV still turns on and looks the same (red, blue, and green shadows), but the picture blink every 30 seconds is gone.

I suspect I received partially defective convergence chips, or one of the low-ohm resistors on the convergence board is bad. What do the low-ohm resistors look like and how can I tell if they are bad? I have a multimeter. Do I need to disconnect the resistors before I test them? There are quite a few resistors on this board, and I'm not really sure what to look for. Any help would be great!

Premtech suggest you unplug that. I unplugged the bigger of the 3 and it came on but looked horrible. Ordered up some stk392-040s installed and my tv came on still looked funny. After talking some via email wiht premtech I found that one the low ohm resistors was faulty replaced it and bam back to sittin on the couch and enjoying tv.
