I have an Acer Extensa 4620Z and one day when i turned the laptop on the lights on the laptop came on but the screen did nothing. I started to move the screen and it would work when i held it a certain way but as soon as i let it go the screen freezes and wont move until i push in on the top of the screen. What could the problem be?
Could be that it was somehow damaged and a wire lose
other causes are that the screen may be going
how old is this laptop
then the screen should not be gone
you probably do have a broken or lose connection somewhere
from monitor to laptop itself
if it is just something lose i would get it fixed can get costly replacing the whole screen
Take it to a small pc repair outlet they will give you a better price then a major outlet will.
Also check your warrany on it
make sure you do check your warrany on it
i would fix it for you if you were in my vicinity
