If your laptop appears to boot up and the hard disk LED flashes, then the problem is probably a back light fault. This can be a faulty inverter or a faulty CCFL lamp. Please click on this link and follow my instructions to identify the fault and possible fix :- http://www.fixya.com/support/r3598095-faulty_laptop_lcd_screen

My monitor keeps turning yellow constantly. How do i fix this problem?

-check the monitor cable (vga cable the one with blue connector) for broken pins
-if there are broken pins replace the cable
-if not try another monitor cable or try the monitor to another cable
-if the monitor still turns to yellow after trying another cable or connecting it to another computer to problem could be with the monitor or the vga card

No back light

If your backlight is broken, then your monitor is broken beyond economical repair. Unless your monitor is still under warranty, you should seek out a replacement monitor.

Had a broken tyre monitor replaced after broken off while getting tyres changed now I get a tyre monitor system fault. I took the car to the dealer and was told that you cannot replace just one sensor ,...

the only way that would make sense is if the module and sensors have a specific frequency, different car to car. (like a chip in the key). but a dealership should be able to get it. otherwise it makes no sense.
