Hello Guys, I have a linkseys wireless router at home connected to one computer. My younger sisters picks up the wireless through her network card and I have a toshiba wireless laptop. All was working fine on my laptop for a couple of months now all of a sudden I cannot gain internet acess. It says I am connected to the wireless router and that the connection is strong, but everytime I try to go on the internet it says page cannot be displayed. It's not the router because I have even tried to work it at a Internet Hotspot. The laptop is a couple of months old, it picks up the router signal but no internet connection what could it be? I have tried internet set up and it seems all in order. Getting so frustrated.
OR MAYBE YOU NEED TO INSTALL THE SOFTWARE FROM THE INSTALLATION CD, I HAD TO DO THAT. THAT ALLOWS YOU TO CONNECT.
May be the connection seting is changed what you have to do is ope my network place then by the left side click view all connection then you will see your wireless connection icon righe click on it then click property then chang the seting as you want it my name is Abreham Tigabu from ethiopia
