This is an equation of a straight line, and we can easily find the the coordinates where this line intersects the axis in following ways:-
for x-axis:-
put y=0, 4x+2*0=8
4x =8
x =8/4
x =2
so intersection coordinates ate (2, 0)
for y-axis:-
put x=0, 4*0+2y=8
2y =8
y =8/2
y =4
so intersection coordinates ate (0, 4)
