Boot problem my Dell GX 270 has a start up problem.it can boot up and display system set up then immediately a black screen will be displayed.

    Have you tried booting to safe mode and does it do the same thing?

    Try a safe mode boot and please let me know.

If you cannot boot to safe mode, you may need to repair or reinstall the OS , as it might be currupt. If you can safe mode check for virus or follow the following step
right click on my computer - Advance tab - startup and recovery's setting remove checkmark from automatically restart
or
download combofix.exe and run this file
or
check your HDD/RAM/Motherboard
