How to check service tag on supermicro servers

AFAIK Supermicro is not using Service tags like Dell or Lenovo. Instead they go by serial numbers. The location of the serial number depends on the type of the server:
Blade serial number (SBI... or SBA...) is located on the side
Blade Enclosure serial number (SBE...) is located on the rear side
CMM (chassis management module) serial number (SBM...) is located next to the latch
Rack-mountable chassis serial number is located on side of chassis by the sliding rail
4U Tower Chassis serial number sticker is located on the bottom side
Rack-mountable Systems' Serial Number is located at the rear side by I/O panel
Embedded Systems' Serial Number is located on the I/O panel

This is a video initialization error.
I have forgotten which one.
(I think the video RAM)
Check the graphic card, or the jumper on the motherboard, depending on the setup of the server. (On board video)
If on board video, also check the first DIMM pair.

Hi All i have a problem with Supermicro X9DAi motherbord i tray to chanche bios setings and now my bios startup vith iscsi mode but noting tere and i dont boot properly whats my problem

Supermicro servers has not lan drivers installed.

you will need to open up your network connections click start control panel network connections this may vary depending on your operating system look for local area connection if you see a red x or a yellow exclamation or question mark ! ? you will need to update or install the driver or it could be firewalled

If you are trying to connect through a modem/router the driver should have come with a disc provided by your ISP internet service provider or your motherboard disc

click start control panel administrive tools computer management device manager scroll to network adapters could see a yellow question / exclamation mark? ! or a red X right click install drivers

Make sure you Ethernet/internet is enabled in bios restart your computer during the boot up process you will see on your screen a certain key to press to enter set up (BIOS)

press and hold that key to enter bios using arrow keys scroll to intergrated peripherals look for SiS On Chip Pci Device press enter scroll to SiS 10/100m press enter make sure its enabledimake sure its enabledPci device arrows key scroll to nstalled.

I.have installed Window 7 ultimate in my system with M/B Supermicro x6dal-xg. I can't use more of 4 gb of ram. Why? There are drivers for my system for Win7? Thanks

no. 32bit of windows can only use 3gb.
reinstall to win7 64 bit.

The mother board will not post nor will the display initialize on a X7DVL-I Supermicro board.

Is the on/off button on the front of the computer-casing broken?
Take a volt-meter, and run a continuity-test.

Are the two wires from that button both properly connected to a pair of pins on the motherboard? If you disconnect the wires from those pins, and use a metal screwdriver to very briefly "short" the two pins, to simulate the pushing of the ON/OFF button, does the motherboard post? Do fans start to spin, or at least "twitch" a few degrees?

Have you tried a different power-supply?

Is there any lamp on the motherboard that lights-up anytime that
the power-supply is connected to AC power? Is that lamp on?

My supermicro mother board can not pick this type of SDRAM PC133U-333-542, meanwhile the memory slot is SDRAM

You are using the wrong memory.
A SuperMicro 370DLE only supports registered memory.
The U in the code shows that the memory you have installed is unregistered.
It will not work.
Exchange the memory for registered memory ,and the system should work fine.
