Problem: Refurbished computer crashed, network adapter problems.

Problem: My refurbished computer crashed & i had to install the Windows XP Professional for refurbished pcs installation disk .... In the device Manager list my network adapter does not appear, what do i have to do to fix it.

You must Reinstall the O. system and see what package do you have. And install according. Go to Microsoft window and install the package.
for your version .Uninstall the O. S with the disk that you have.

SOURCE: Cannot connect to internet..network adapter

l had similar problem: my techy said that the firewall was stopping the modem from getting an automatic ip address - having said that he fixed it. sorry l can't offer more detail than that

SOURCE: In Device Manager under Network

the yellow mark on device manager means the driver has not been installed and the driver is connected to the motherboard use your motherboard drivers CD and install them or you can download them from the net
