Start up is slow and I get the message "Dell has encounterd a problem with the button monitor and has to close". When I close the error message the the pc continues to log on as usual - but slow. Occasionally when shutting down, I get the message pc shutting down, but it doesnt shut and I have to press the button to close down
Disable all startup items. Click on Start> Run> Type msconfig then press enter. Click on the Start Up Tab the click on Disable All. Click close and restart your computer.
Your system should be starting up faster compared before.
