Clock hOW DO I SET THE CLOCK ON MY DEH-2000MP??

    The instructions for setting the clock in the manual does not work. The manual says to push the function button to clock but when you do no clock function comes up after it. Therefore all the other instructions are not feasible. It goes on to select which half of the clock you need hour or minute and then adjust, but again clock can not be selected through the function button unless my function button is faulty.

    cant set the time, manual doesnt make sense. I will try the suggested solution.

The manual was even wrong on this one. What you have to do is:

1. turn the key to the run position
2. push and hold the volume knob in until the unit turns off.
3. push it in again and hold it, the unit will turn back on and if you keep holding the button in the hour will start to flash
4. use the up/down, left/right buttons to set the time
5. push the button one more time and its all set

My Pioneer DEH-2000MP now has the worng AM frequency spacing, ie. rather than tuning in 580AM, it tunes to 576AM and the station is fuzzy. This appears to only effect AM, not FM. Stereo worked fine until...
Get to the set-up menu by pressing the source button until just the clock is displayed, no music just the clock. Now press and hold the "func" button until "Menu" appears. Now scroll thru the various items using the up & down or the side to side buttons. I believe you will find the item for US or Europe or like Alpine reads Area 1 for US and Area 2 for the rest. Set time
First you have to turn the unit off with the volume button. Make sure it's off or you can't set it.

Then press the function button for about 5 seconds and it will come up with a menu with a bunch of different settings, the clock should be in there with it.

Hi my name is terry lynn i had a pioneer cd receiver /autoradio
I have the same radio, the Pioneer DEH-10MP, bought at BestBuy. Anyway, the instruction manual is completely wrong, as you already know. The solution that worked for me is:

1) turn off the radio.
2) Push and hold the power button down (the dial). DON'T release the button.
3) The unit will display the time on the lcd screen with the numbers flashing, (only hr or min).
4) use the up/dwn, right/left buttons to set the clock.
5) turn off the unit by pushing the power button (again, the dial).

That is it. the clock should be set.

I have a pioneer stero with a cd player and a remote and a clock
HI MY NAME IS TERRY LYNN AND MY HUSBAND IS TERRY LEE WE PURSHURD A DEH-2000MP /DEH-10MP FROM AUDIO DESIGN THEY PUT IT IN MY TRUCK BUT WE CAN NOT FIGURE OUT THE CLOCK IT IS SO DIFICULT WE EVEN RED THE MANUAL AND IT IS SO CONFUSEING. WE EVEN TOOK IT BACK TO AUTO DESIGN AND IT TOOK THEM AWHILE TO FOGURE IT OUT? IT ALSO HAS A CD PLAYER WITH A REMOTE THAT CAN BE USED FOR EVERYTHING. THANK YOU MRS. Clock
To set the clock on the Panasonic DEH-1600 car stereo, follow these instructions:
  1. Turn the radio off by pressing and holding the SRC button (under the label OFF).
  2. Press and hold the Audio button in the upper right corner of the radio. After holding the button for about 3 seconds, the clock will begin to blink (the hours).
  3. Use the up and down arrows to increase or decrease the time hours or minutes. Use the left and right buttons to toggle between setting the hours and/or minutes.
  4. When done, push and hold the Audio button again fir about 3 seconds until the clock stops blinking (hours or minutes).

Setting the clock on my pioneer deh 2000mp
1. If the device is on, press and hold the SRC/OFF button until it turns off.

2. Now, press and hold the same button until the hours on the clock blink.

3. Set the hours with the up and down buttons.

4. Switch to minutes with the right button (you can return to hours with the left button).

5. Set the minutes with the up and down buttons.

6. Press the SRC/OFF button.
