I have recently reformatted and the device manager says that the drivers for other devices are not present.
The motherboard is lakeport-6A79HFKEC-00
Foxconn 945G7AD/945G7MC/945GC7MC945GZ7MC/945P7AD/945P7M.
Motherboard manufacturer Hon Hai Precision industry Co.
Motherboard I.D.OEM00000 PROD00000000
CPU DUAL CORE INTEL PENTIUM D925.
The list for the missing drivers is;
Ethernet controller
Pci device
SM Bus Controller
Video controller (VGA Compatible)
I would be very greateful if you could help me locate the drivers for said items with any info or links to sites for download.
Thank you,
Scott.
Just visit Foxconn's support website. They've got them all. just google : foxconn
and use common sense.
Scott,
Thanks for the bad review. Remember, I'm only trying to help. I'm not putting you down so don't automatically jump to that conclusion. When I say use "common sense" I mean just use your best judgement.
Here's a link to your ethernet drivers:

This should work for your board. If it does, I would suggest a Windows Update for starters. It should fill in a few more of those missing drivers. For the remaining drivers you'll have to visit Foxconn's support website @

Choose Motheboard, then 775, then choose one of the 945G7AD-????? choices. If you look on the motherboard you should see a corresponding choice.
Good job as far as putting up info to help yourself out with. It made finding an answer for you much easier.
p.s. Please change the rating!
Did you get this straightened out?
Thanks Scott.
No worries.
Let me know if you need any more help!

I formatted my had drives reinstall windows but lost my sound and resolution intel (r) Pentium (r) Dual CPU E2180 @ 2.00GHz
You were right when you said use common sense. I had got so far and hit a brick wall and was so frustrated. your first comments gave me a second wind and I found the drivers the same day you posted. the problem is that I was trying to find the drivers on my laptop for my desktop which obviously short of an internet connection and they all wanted to find drivers for my vaio. As you say I had done the hard work already but I didnt know that at the time. We have three computers in the house and all three have been down in the last two weeks, so im learning pretty quick. Im sorry if i was blunt with you but frustration is an angry beast. Ive put your rating up but please be a bit more understanding with the poor folk like me who are walking about in fog. Cheers, Scott.
