Ok that is just a program that comes with the Acer laptops, it really is Useless and I dont use it on my computer, its part of the acer e management , e recovery, and etc programs that acer made. To fix this you can uninstall it under the ADD/remove programs or if you want to keep it you can then goto the acer website and under support put your model number in and download that particular software again and it might fix itself if there where some type of missing files on that particular software. Secondly if this is a vista machine it could be the software is not compatible and it causes the OS to crash which then comes with that error to the user and never goes away . Hope my answer gets you closer to a solution.

SOURCE: On Startup, I get an error message: C:\Program

to stop getting the error message, type msconfig into the run/search box.
Go to the startup tab and untick the entry for the camera.
Uninstall the software, run a cleaner like CCleaner, run the registry cleaner.
Download the latest version of the software and try again .

Choose your model and OS, and download from here http://www.csd.toshiba.com/cgi-bin/tais/support/jsp/home.jsp

SOURCE: After installing a new version

Uninstall Avast and check it hasn't damaged any files/drivers. If it has try running from a known good date by typing "restore point" into the windows search box and follow the prompts. This action is not reversible but may restore your system to how it was, working!
Hope that helps.
