If I totally return my computer to manufacture settings do I need to reinstall all other programs for instance wireless internet? I am not good at computers and my children are out of the house and all over the country. I took it in to be cleaned and they said that I had a virus supposedly fix it and I have had nothing but trouble since. What do you suggest. I have a office enterprise 2007 that I want to install over the 2003 version and it won;t install.
Yes, you will lose anything that was not on the computer when you first got it. If the wireless was installed when you bought the computer then it should work fine after the recovery. If it was added by you or someone else after you got the PC, you will need to reinstall the drivers to get it working.
Same for other devices and any programs you may have installed since the PC was new.
Also...you will lose any documents, pictures, music, etc unless you back it up to some external device such as a hard drive, usb stick, or burn it to cd/dvd.
