I removed McAfee from my Sony Vaio (XP) computer. At first, I got a message saying that vbscript engine couldn't run. The message went away but it still isn't working. My Yahoo mail looks unformatted (it's viewable but everything's in the wrong place, the messages are very large and the box to type emails is tiny). I can't view/use anything requiring a script. A friend said that it was a vb registration problem but I went to microsoft and downloaded/ran vbscript.dll and it still didn't help.
Any ideas on how to reconnect the vb script (f that really is the problem)?

Try an system restore from b4 the problem and then remove mcAfee, you can also remove some windows components and updates. when you got to the windows updates after removal it should re-install what it needs.
