I have been trying to install Java. A message pops up that states I have to go to internet options, connections and change my proxy. I go to the control panel, security settings and access internet options there - but what is the "proxy" I need to change? I don't see anything that looks like I could change it. Am I making this more difficult than it is?
Head to www.filehippo.com. Download the java installer from there and install it. If you still have trouble after this, remove ALL versions of java installed on your machine, restart the computer (even if the computer doesnt tell you to), then download and install the client.
