Replace transformer Anyone know the dc output from the mains transformer in a MS309 active subwoofer? Mine has shorted out and need to replace it. The fuses on the dc rails on the amp are both 6.5 amp and the output of the amp is 175W. The existing toroidal transformer weighs 2kg but the info printed on it has not yielded any results in google. It has 150-R0785002 then LS-A8355-PT3-T on the label if it helps Cheers andy

If you are refering to the DC +- 65 Volts the AC side will be different. What you need to find out is the average loaded AC volts on the secondary side of the transformer.

I go to them all the time for transformers and power supplies for high end audio equipment and especialy for custom design and construction. I am sure they can wind you a new transformer once they know the exact specs you need.
