Posted on Aug 21, 2007

I Got rough with the printer while trying to change the ink cartridges.

I was in an extreme hurry, and my ink cartridges had run out of ink on my epson stylus 3810. I was trying to get it to release the cartridges in order to see what i had to buy. I wasn't in a clear mind and forced the cartridges out. i put the new ones in, and now it only prints a little bit of yellow. and solutions short of buying another one?

Rather than waste money on a stylus, just buy a new printer. Less than $70 for a printer and you get the 1 year warranty.

I would suggest running up to 9 cleaning cycles - 3 groups of 3 cleanings with a nozzle check after each group of three. If no change, then replacement would be your best solution. A good replacement would be the Stylus CX7400 for around $70
