I have recently bought a logitech 120 headset. It's plugged in and working fine for voice conversations but when i try to use it for one of my games (counter strike source) it just does not pick up any sound. I have not tried the mic for any other games but i am certain that my game is not faulty and i think that this problem could be solves with some settings tweaking could you help me?

have you tried looking in your multiplayer option ins FSX to make sure you have the correct input selected?

If when you talk into your mic you hear yourself from speakers...open your volume control(windows) and check the box to mute mic. Not for sure this is a fix to your problem but from what you wrote is similar to problem seen with voice chat software.

Go to Control Panel and Click on Sounds, Click
on Audio, then Click on the Microphone. Then Click on the drop
down and select your headphone mike or Camera Microphone.
Click OK and it should work.

SOURCE: recently bought an Alba HS-820USB headset with
just interchange the plugs behind your cpu it must work. and got to controll panell sound devices, advance options click options, properties then change to recording if ur mic vol is mute then uncheck it.
