An easier way to do this is to just press the right-hand button on the round wheel surrounding the set button. This allows you to scroll through all the various record modes: Snapshot, Bestshot, Video, & Microphone.
1-in the REC mode press menu
2-select the REC tab-select REC mode and pres the play button
3- use up an down arrows to find - "movie" icon and press [SET]
4- point at the subject and press the shutter button to start the video recording.Press again when you want to stop the recording.
