Is it a Windows User Password(After Boot-up),If so Press f8 during boot up go to safe mode,then try to log in as administrator,and creat yourself a new user account in control pannel / user accnts.,then after thi8s you can simply delete the old accounts from there

Restart the computer, press F8 select safe mode, If you have log on to the windows, access the control panel and open the user account select the account then over right the password.
Note: you can delete the account and leave the admin.
